By Elbs, Freiburg The attachment on the front of the magic lantern is <link ref="tec3006">Münsterberg’s apparatus for mixing colors by the combination of colored gelatine papers</link>. The papers were slipped into place like lenses, being mounted on levers. device seems to be in use in one of the other
photos in Muensterberg’s article (kk: link to
image in PDF). I will look for some reference to
this device in Muensterberg’s publications.
