Career: Studies of German, philosophy, medicine and physics; 1914 graduation under Wundt at Leipzig; 1918 work at a brain injury ward (Hirnverletztenstation); 1921-23 lectures on economic psychology at Halle; foundation of the first German «Provinzial-Institut für Praktische Psychologie» in Halle; 1923 at the Technische Hochschule in Stuttgart; teaching and research work at the «Psychotechnisches Laboratorium» in Stuttgart; 1929 associate professor; 1932-35 annual lectures at Madrid and Barcelona.
