This latter arrangement will be found exceedingly convenient and useful for Bromide printing.
NOTE.—The stop-work is so arranged that the clock will always start when the stop is released, and provision is made to prevent any harm coming to the clockwork through the stop
being depressed unnecessarily hard.
This clock serves admirably for timing experiments where a stop-watch is usually employed, and for many purposes will do as well as an expensive chronometer.
Most science teachers have no doubt experienced considerable annoyance at the continual breakdowns of cheap stop-watches ; this clock practically overcomes the difficulty, and its price places it within the reach of all.
These are already in use in a great number of institutions and physical laboratories.
Prices.
S. d.
Clock with stop-work and indicator (as illustrated) . . . . . 16 6
» » only.......................................................15 o
„ indicator-hand but no stop-work . . . . . 12 6
,, (plain) without indicator or stop-work ...... 10 6
Any of the above fitted with gas-burner, as described, 3j\\ 6,/. extra.
Pamphlets of other specialities and catalogues on application.
W.
